The VERA-NG Passive ESM Tracker, produced by ERA, a subsidiary of OMNIPOL Group, is the most advanced passive surveillance system utilizing the multilateration Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) principle. This unique system is designed for the detection, localization, tracking, and identification of air, ground, and naval targets, as well as for advanced analysis of both pulse and continuous-wave signals.
VERA-NG enables cross-border, long-term, and long-range surveillance without alerting neighboring nations. The system emits zero electromagnetic energy, which enables it so “see without being seen” and remain immune to the impact of jamming. It also provides strategic ELINT (Electronic Intelligence) capabilities by collecting, processing, and evaluating ESM data to support the creation and enhancement of reference databases.

ERA also produces the Passive Long-range ESM Surveillance System (PLESS) which is a long-range system that uses reflections of radar signals from the troposphere to track targets far beyond the radio horizon. Using the unique passive detection technology by ERA, the PLESS direction finding system provides a covert mode of operation, ideal for long-term cross-border and maritime surveillance.

The system is capable of effectively and covertly detecting, locating, tracking and identifying all land and naval targets deep in the enemy's rear or in territorial waters several hundred kilometres away
