OMNIPOL transformed into OMNIPOL Group and OMNIPOL Defence

OMNIPOL transformed into OMNIPOL Group and OMNIPOL Defence

OMNIPOL, a.s. has successfully completed its internal transformation process, responding to the dynamic growth and technological evolution of the entire group. The original company has formally split into two parts: the parent structure, OMNIPOL Group, and its subsidiary, OMNIPOL Defence. Both entities fully share and build upon the 90 year tradition, continuity, and strong reputation of the OMNIPOL brand.

While the parent OMNIPOL Group strategically umbrellas and develops three main industrial pillars – Aerospace, Electronics, and Defence – the newly rebranded subsidiary, OMNIPOL Defence, profiles itself fully in the role of a specialized integrator and exporter of promising defense technologies.

The primary goal of OMNIPOL Defence for the upcoming period is the integration of complex technological solutions and the efficient export of the group's products to demanding global markets. In doing so, the company builds closely on synergies with the holding's manufacturing enterprises, which include world leaders in their respective fields: aircraft manufacturer Aircraft Industries (L-410 NG), technological visionary in passive surveillance systems ERA, and tactical communication expert MESIT. The group is also a strategic co-owner of Aero Vodochody, the manufacturer of the L-39 Skyfox aircraft, in whose development it played a major role.

"Today's security world is changing dramatically. Success on the global market is no longer determined by the ability to manufacture and sell a single isolated product, but by the art of connecting cutting-edge technologies into one fully functional whole. We approached the split into the parent group and the subsidiary OMNIPOL Defence purely because of future technological development, which reflects this trend. "Both companies represent our ninety-year tradition, but we are giving OMNIPOL Defence a clear mandate: it must function as a strong architect and integrator of complex solutions that can transfer the innovative power of our manufacturing plants to the entire world," explains Artem Movsesyan, Group CEO and Chairman of the Board of OMNIPOL Group.

Complex Solutions for Global Markets

In line with its new mandate, OMNIPOL Defence focuses on the integration and delivery of sophisticated projects. Key pillars of the portfolio include the Phoenix Pod electro-optical reconnaissance container, the L-39 Skyfox platform in an advanced configuration for countering unmanned aerial vehicles (C-UAS), and Roshel multi-purpose armored vehicles.

A significant part of the strategy consists of implementing complex technological units in the areas of air defense systems, critical infrastructure protection, and providing comprehensive solutions for the modernization and construction of airports. This includes both advanced air navigation and communication systems, as well as air traffic control itself.

With this step, the entire holding, which is owned by the Háva family, confirms its long-term stability and one hundred percent continuity of exports to more than 65 countries worldwide
